Cosmetic and aesthetic dentistry in Singapore

Artisan Dental is a private clinic in Singapore treating patients from Indonesia and the region. Every case — from whitening to full-arch reconstruction — begins with the same thing: a structured assessment, and a written plan you see before anything else happens.

“Which treatment applies to you is a finding made at assessment — not a preference.”

The Artisan approach

Artisan Dental operates through a structured clinical framework designed to support careful diagnosis, deliberate treatment planning, and long-term oral stability.

Every recommendation considers the condition of the teeth, gums, and bite — ensuring both functional health and aesthetic balance are addressed together.

Assessment first

Findings before recommendations — scans, photographs, and a full examination.

Structured planning

A written plan and itemised quotation you review before anything begins.

Controlled execution

Procedures carried out to plan, sequenced around your travel dates.

Long-term stability

Durability, function, and appearance weighed together over time.

The clinical distinction

Two kinds of smile work. One clinical line between them.

Most dental marketing uses “cosmetic” and “aesthetic” interchangeably. At Artisan Dental they describe different clinical situations — and which one applies to you is a finding made at assessment, not a preference.

Refine

01

Aesthetic dentistry

For teeth that are fundamentally sound. Veneers adjust shape. Whitening adjusts colour. Bonding repairs edges. Aligners adjust position. The foundation stays; the surface is refined.

Rebuild

02

Cosmetic reconstruction

When teeth, roots, and the bone that holds them can no longer support repair, the foundation itself is rebuilt: implants anchored in bone, carrying a fixed set of teeth designed as one unit — bite, proportion, and appearance planned together.

Who asks for what

Most patients arrive describing one of three situations

These are the patterns we see most often from Indonesia. They are starting points for a conversation — the assessment decides which treatment actually applies.

Aesthetic

“My teeth are healthy, I just don’t like how they look”

Discolouration, small chips, uneven edges, narrow gaps, slightly crowded front teeth. Nothing is failing — the concern is shape, colour, and proportion.

Typically assessed for veneers, whitening, bonding, or aligners.

Either

“I’ve had a lot of dental work and it no longer matches”

Older crowns and fillings of different shades, a bite that feels uneven, repairs that keep needing repair. Whether the surface can be refined or the foundation needs rebuilding is not visible from the outside.

Assessment establishes what is sound before anything is planned.

Reconstruction

“Teeth are loose or missing, and dentures aren’t working”

Mobile teeth, repeated extractions, removable dentures that move while eating or speaking, bone loss noted by a previous dentist.

Typically assessed for implants and full-arch rehabilitation.

Rebuild

Full-arch rehabilitation — All-on-4 and 3-on-6

A complete upper or lower set of teeth, fixed on a small number of implants. All-on-4 places four implants carrying one connected bridge; 3-on-6 places six implants carrying three independent segments.

Which configuration fits you is determined by your CBCT scan — bone volume, arch shape, bite force — not chosen from a menu. Dr Lee shows you the findings and explains why one fits your anatomy, or why neither does.

All-on-4

Implants   Four, angled to use available bone
Prosthesis   One connected bridge across the arch
Determined by   Your CBCT scan — bone volume, arch shape, bite force

3-on-6

Implants   Six, distributed across the arch
 Prosthesis   Three independent segments
Determined by   The same scan findings, reviewed with you

01

Veneers

Shape, proportion, and surface — planned against your bite, not over it.

02

Whitening

Examination first — teeth and gums are checked for suitability before any in-clinic whitening.

03

Bonding

Edge repair and gap closure that preserves the tooth underneath.

04

Invisalign

Alignment planned digitally, reviewed at intervals — including by video.
